In the course of this month, Knorr-Bremse Rail Vehicle Systems completed the preparations for the production of disc brakes and compressors in Voronezh, Russia. The brake equipment assembly facilities were set up in collaboration with OAO Vagonremmash, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Russian Railways RZD.

PESA Bydgoszcz presented its new vehicle – ELF. The train was revealed by Boguslaw Smigielski, the marshal of Silesia province in Poland.

At the outdoor exhibition of InnoTrans 2010, the Croatian rolling-stock manufacturer TZV Gredelj presented its JT38CW-DC locomotive, designed in a project of modernization and remotorization of old GM EMD G16 engine.

At the international trade fair InnoTrans 2010, the Romanian company Remarul 16 Februarie presented its two modernized locomotives for the state-owned rail operator CFR Marfa.
