Lithuania: Bigger profits of Lithuanian Railways
Finance Ministry proposed that Lithuanian Railways will reach 3% return on capital. This decision is part of government programme of improving condition of state's budget by increasing revenues from state owned assets.
Lithuania: Court dismissed complaints on Lithuanian Railways
Lithuanian court rejected complaints on tender procedure violation allegedly made by Lithuanian Railways. The complaint has been made by Orlen Lituva, a subsidiary of Polish Company Orlen.

Russian railways (RZD) announced an annual competition for the best rolling stock and technical system aimed at increasing the quality of company's services. The contest is held in three categories concerning quality: locomotives, cars and infrastructure.
Bulgaria: BDZ will provide EUR 61.4 million for investments
As “Limun.hr” reported, Bulgarian railways BDZ plans to invest a total of EUR 61.4 million through 2013. BDZ will invest EUR 10 million this year and EUR 25.5 million in each of the next two years.

Bulgaria: GPS to reduce fuel thefts
