China, Europe: Alstom and the Ministry of Railway of China sign cooperation agreement to jointly develop railway markets
On 7 December 2010, Liu Zhijun, Minister of Chinese Railways, and Patrick Kron, Alstom Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, in the presence of Mr. Zhang Dejiang, Chinese Vice Premier, signed a long-term cooperation agreement to form strategic partnerships for both Chinese and defined international railway markets.
