Russia: Freight One container shipments down 26.7%
In 2009 the volume of container shipments transported by Freight One dropped by 26.7%.
Freight One is a RZD subsidiary. In 2009 the company operated 908 container trains (in 2008 - 912), which moved 109.575 TEU. 108 of these trains were desined for export (13,054 TEU – up by 21.3%) , while 665 trains were importing goods (85,585 TEU – a drop by 46.2%).
