Romania: Desiros stay in depots due to lack of spare parts
More than 20 Desiro trains, nicknamed „Blue Arrow”, of CFR Calatori were damaged because of the cold weather and bad railway infrastructure. Now, they are staying in depots due to lack of spare parts.
63 Desiro trains were purchased by CFR in 2002. The cost of the transaction was EUR 300m, which means that the value of a single train amounted EUR 4.76m.
